This win will be on ESPN Classic. The "Tammies" must be totally demoralized right now. What must they be thinking . . . a FIVE RUN lead was not enough to win the game for them.

Congrats to Smoke and the team on winning.

I agree. If Gill makes the DP, Aggies get one run and Nate finishes. He has always been a slow starter, but, get him to the third and he's almost unbeatable. He couldn't find the strike zone early and the 1st 2 got on then the s*it started. You could tell he was finding his comfort zone but he was getting behind and couldn't use his "tumbler".
Smoke had a tough decision to make and thanks to Determan, he made the right one. If Jason stinks it up the debate here would be raging. Let's finish it up today Tigers. :geaux:

When you come in with 2 out in the 1st, I believe that's a little more than "mopping up". :)

Determan was outstanding in a high pressure situation. Other than the one high hanging curve that got smacked he made very very few mistakes and turned what could have been a disaster into what should be a big motivator for the team. Had Determan come in and pitched poorly we could have used up our bullpen in the first game with nothing to show for it. Now it's time to go for the kill....NO MERCY GEAUX TIGERS!!!!!!!! :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

A five point lead isn't that out of reach.

It isn't out of reach we proved that last night but spotting a team 5 runs in the first is HUGE no matter how you look at it. At this point in the season there are no "ole myth's" left playing and opening the door that wide for the quality teams playing this time of year normally does not turn out good. LSU definitely beat the odds in coming back from a 5 run deficit no doubt about it. The good thing is they were not just lucky to come back but instead worked hard an earned the W despite the horrible start. Hats off to the Tigers and the job they did last night. :geaux: :lsug: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:
