1. Not grooved rollers, but helical geared rollers with a spring-loaded adjustment screw that brings them together. i can't figure what it clamps onto.
  2. Is it threaded on the other (non roller) end? It looks like something that would be attached to a pneumatic piston to crease two pieces of something together.
  3. It does have two threaded holes on the end opposite from the rollers. That is so it can be bolted to another object as an attachment. There are other varieties that are clamped on as opposed to bolting. There are other styles of adjustability as well as non adjustable types.
  4. Some sort of belt tensioner.
