When you think about it there are hundreds of great albums that could be among your favorites at any one time of your life.

That's an interesting mix of favorites. I've liked them all at one time or another but would't put them in my favorites.

I'm an old fart so my musical tastes run from big bands, to 50s & 60s rock & roll, R&B, Motown, a little country, and crooners like Sinatra, Martin, Como, & Bennett.

Very true. Who's Next, Joshua Tree, Aqualung, Chicago (the Album), Nine Tonight (Silver Bullet Live), Rumours, Mad Man Across the Water, Deep Purple in Rock . . . all could have made the list at a given point in time. Which reminds me, it's been way too long since I've listened to some of these.

I like some of Sinatra but Perry Como had a TV show my mother would always watch and I hated it. Elevator music.

We watched Como also. There wasn't a lot of choice in those days. And someone had to get up to change the channel.

Yeh, Mom or Dad would say ' Get up (I typically watched TV laying on the floor) and put it on Channel 5'. Now move the right rabbit ear up a little. Now try moving the left one forward. OK, I guess that's as good a picture as we're going to get tonight'. :)
