I'll have to keep posting in this thread as memories come to me... The bus trip to the Florida game this year was awesome. I never realized just how far away Gainesville was. I'm the tall comedic type so I had everyone cracking up the entire trip. I really helped releive the tension that was mounting whenever it was taking us too long to get there. One of the busses broke down so we had to wait on them and plus we kind of departed Baton Rouge late. We got to the game and in the stadium right before kickoff. I was glad I was there. I love those come from behind victories. All of the games this season I went to were phenominal (except for the Auburn game, damn refs!). The Auburn game last year was the first game I went to as an LSU student. I must say, the student section is like no other section in any sport in any stadium. Heckling all the Auburn fans was great!
When I was much younger (like 6 or 7) - Just before a home game I gave all of the starters a silk flower with their name on a card tied to it. I'd gotten the flowers at a Mardi Gras parade so it had to be right after that. Some of the guys put them in their pockets and others put them behind their ears. I remember Todd saying in an interview once that there is a box of stuff he keeps from his days at LSU. In that box he has a flower a little girl gave him before a game. I saw him at the Alumni Gala last year and asked if he remebered getting a silk flower from a little girl before a game. He said yes and I told him that was me. When I told him I was a Senior at LSU he liked to have fallen out of his chair. So yes- I made Todd Walker feel old.

White Horse 2. 82 bama road trip where we "killed the bear" 3. going thru rush when Animal House came out in the theaters 4. phantom blow to the head during the usc game in 79, snuck in a keg! 5. nite before songfest, twice-thanks mar&^*!. 6. girlfried stiffing me before a bama game, picked up someone else at the game, brought her back to the house, yadda, yadda, yadda and my buddies saving me when the gf showed up 7. throwing a football at a future trial lawyers head 8. bs sessions that would go all nite 9. southsea island parties 10. champagne breakfast or toga at the copa!
Thanks, Jason Williams played with Todd for a coupla years and I knew Todd pretty good. I used to catch up with him when the Rockies were playing in Hotlanta. With him being about 6-7 years yaunger than me, I was just wondering how ya did it. :grin: :tigbas:
