I would ask him 2 questions: First, Coach where can I buy "For Sale" signs? and second, Can I have directions to your house? Just kidding. I was one of the people who was concerned after ASU but wanted to see how the team performed this game. After being there last night, my concerned has turned to worry. Hopefully worry won't turn into panic.
Count me in with the "dunces". I never wanted the dude here in the first place... Too many Hallman, Dinardo, et al memories.
My question would relate to trying to play for overtime with 2:00 left.......I would pose it like this Coach, Jamarcus Russell has had an up and down career during his short time at LSU so far. But just about all of his "up's" have come in critical "back to the wall" type plays. He led us from behind last year against OSU and Iowa, and just recently made a great clutch play against ASU with just over 1 min. to go.......why not give him opportunity to do it again.....it is obvious (and i believe most fans will agree) that Russell is at his best when he absolutley has to be. Why not give him the chance Coach?
I remember miles making a comment about how he likes being in a state where the average person has so much football knowledge... well coach, here comes the bad part of that.. have fun wednesday...
That question should be asked verbatim. Well put. Also, I'd like to know why didn't use the play action pass. I'm guessing it's b/c their front four was getting such a good push, but who the hell knows. Oh yea, and why not throw deep a couple/few times, if only to keep their safeties honest!? No way are you going to work the middle of the field on short slants if there are two safeties in there too.
I couldnt believe there was no hitch and go routes.. the majority of the routes were hitches and the corners were playing tight...
Why didn't we call play action pass on 1st or 2nd down? I can't recall any play action pass being called.
