The thing TM7 has goin for him is that the media LOVES him in spite of his trangressions. People who know college football all list him as one of their Heisman candidates but unfortunately those people do not have votes for the Heisman. His numbers are worthy, he just needs another epic game against UGA and maybe he'l be invited to New York. LSU would need to be undefeated for him to have a chance again next year.
Hey don't get so down. I know how it feels when you have high expectations for someone and they let you down. The thing is no one is perfect not even Jesus. TM made a bad choice and that happens with everyone everywhere in all fazes of life. The good news is he served his suspension and he hopefully learned from his hiccup. He put himself in a bad position but that happens. He is a leader now. TM has an opportunity to now mentor younger guys and explain the consequences when you have a choice to do the right or wrong thing. Eveything we do in life will cause large and small reactions, sometimes good and sometimes bad. So keep your head up and look at the bright side. TM's hard work has given him a boost that other hiesman contenders don't have. Yes he missed a game but now he can make it up against UGA. You see while othr hiesman hopefuls are at home watching tv and studying perhaps working out, TM will be playing this Saturday! His door to a wonderful opportunity is not closed yet. The seccg can boost this young man into a new frontier! I am not sure if the vote goes in b4 the NCG but he will be playing on the big stage in frount of millions to prove his case on why he IS college footballs #1 playmaker! And you know what? I don't think he will let you down again.
Hey don't be so surprised buddy. Sometimes we get excited and it's ok to express those feelings! A wise man once said bring me the son of gerell and make him kneel b4 zod!
I say who cares that he missed one game. Andrew Luck had a couple of poor games, so it's almost like he missed those. Richardson was held under 100 rushing by LSU. Robert Griffin III shouldn't be considered if Case Keenum isn't. To me this award should go to the best football player in the nation. That player is TM7....
No matter what Honey Badger does he isnt winning. The suspended game really killed his momentum. Add to that he had a few games where he wasnt at all seen. Its extremely tough for a defensive player to win. He should win the defensive player of the year though. He has the TDs and takeaways. Not to mention he LEADS the number 2 D in the country in tackling as a CB.
Nice post man! The best player on the best team should win. He will move into the top 3 with a big game watch!
