i take it the other way, I think as the flagship school of the state, our guys will be taking the role of 'representing the state,' and will ROLL... Should be a pretty big night Sat to get all of our minds away for 3 hrs
btw... why don't we play Mon like Ole Miss? it would allow us to practice, and would let things further settle... It is a long weekend afterall it isnt like we have to please TV or anything like that, b/c the game is uncovered
Well crush them unless this team has one hell of a true freshmen class coming in. Look for between 50 and 68 points on the board I think.
We shut them out AND scored 52 points back in 1999 when both teams were pretty down, I think this will be a joke. It's hard to predict a score because of all the intangibles... but, Miles will still be fired up, and thus the team will roll. I think NO starters (or at least a very miniscule amount) will play in the 2nd half. I think that it should be imperative to shut this team out. Pellini should want to "prove" that his defense is just as capable as Saban's and thus push for a shut-out. I really think that a shut-out wont be enough. We need to create turn-overs and score at least ONE defensive TD (that would really be nice.) I really think it's imperative that we prove we will have a capable D this season. Everyone knows our offense will be freakish, but I really think our defense isn't getting the respect it deserves...but it will after this UNT "game." Of course I'm being a homer, but I say 63-0--that's if Miles doesn't get excited.
I don't care about the points as long as the Tigers look sharp. We got off to slow starts for the opener for three straight years. LSU needs to come out ready to play and push some people around.
