Sounds to me like once we get rid of Saban's players we'll be fine.

Ya gotta give these Tiger players credit, they never gave up. They kept fighting till the end, and came out with a win. That kind of experience could be a bond to build on for the future. I hope so. I'm proud of this Tiger team. Every loss came to a top 10 team, and I didn't figure us for a top 10 team this season. No embarrassment there. :geaux:

The change to JJ was definitely needed as JL and rest of the offense was going nowhere, esp. after the pick 6. It was also critical for JL to seriously regroup that time in the event that he was needed to come back in the game ( had JJ played well ENOUGH, JL would have stayed on the sidelines the rest of the game). It was refreshing for the rest of the offense unit players when JJ started, although the slightly different look that I sensed in the offense was probably due to the ass whipping the team got in the locker room:hihi:.

I haven't rewatched the game yet; but my perception of the turning point was when Lafell managed to catch the high pass on the sideline after a few heart stopping bobbles.

I don't know what happened late in the third, but something did.

Loved the student section "flapping" like from the movie.

Was the loudest half empty stadium I have ever heard.

Glad I froze my ass off for that one, and I hope the 60,000+ that left early are sick with themselves for missing it.

I'll say that when.. I can't remember his name.. Daniel Grash(?) made that hit on special teams I knew we were going to win.

Baker sure has been a force on the coverage units hasn't he?! He seems to ALWAYS be down there making the tackle....and tackle with FORCE I might add!

I don't know that it nec. will translate into him being an exceptional LB in the everyday defense, but he SURELY HAS made his mark on special teams and as a heavy hitter.

I don't know what his 40-time is, but judging how he's always one of the first Tiger special teamers to get to the return man, I'd bet that he's got to be pretty fast.
