Agreed. I would LOVE to take 'em down in the Big (but silent) House.... Agreed. Plus the fact that my dad and 4 uncles were sailors who all saw duty for their country. Agreed. Plus the fact we SHOULD HAVE beaten his @ss in the '72 Orange Bowl. REVENGE, baby. ???? Substitute Cal or Stanford, so I could see some REAL FB fans in a Bay Area stadium. No, Raider fan DOESN'T count. Amen. :thumb: :geauxtige
Apples and oranges. They're not really comparable. A&M has a completely different marching style. It'd be like comparing LSU to Southern. Not that Southern has a marching style like A&M, but the military style that A&M uses is nothing like LSU's, which leans towards more conventional marching styles. As far as which one pleases the crowd more, I'd go with LSU. A&M's got nothing even close to the stadium salute, or the reaction it provokes.
1) OU.......i need some more bragging rights against em 2)Notre Dame.......I cant believe i dislike a school this much 3)USC.......would have loved to seen them play in 03 4)Texas.....i would love to see us play the longies 5)Nebraska......i dont like theese guys very much either
Bond was just awesome against the Tigers. I was glad when he graduated. I believe, although I'm not certain, that he QB'd 4 wins against LSU. I can't think of another QB that's done that.
Right on BergeGFK:thumb: To hell with aggy and their snotrag wavin' ice cream truckdriver cheerleaders and them ole dead dogs in the end zone. If I want to watch nazis, I turn on the history channel.:hihi:
LSU fans' obsession with USC will not end for a looong time, and no game against them will stop it (unless we can go back in time & play them in 03 when it mattered). I have little interest in playing them other than the media build up which would make more a fun atmosphere. Other than that, I think almost everyone has listed the big ones. Michigan, Notre Dame, & Florida St for me. Michigan because of Miles. Florida St because of Bowden, had he not beaten us last time with his Florida St team, he'd of been LSU's head coach.
Yeah they can. Did you happen to see the '05 Cotton Bowl vs Tennessee? Halftime showed a large part of their show and it was horrible. I only pray that the GBFTL never sounds or looks like that.
