According to Lou Holtz, what's going on is the "spread offense", its the great equalizer. You just need a nifty spear chucker and a fast wideout, and anyone can play with anyone on a given Sat. You spread everyone out, and the good teams can't concentrate their power on you.

yeah that'd be appropriate but even monsieur burger said that michigan should fall out of the top 25.

so him going against one of the "great" teams is clear proof that the media might be letting go of the big 10 this year.
