If you got to b*tch about spending a few bucks to watch or listen to something you really enjoy, go get another ****ing job.
This won't work. The stations will not be able stream for free what LSU is selling. 870 used to stream Saints games before the NFL started selling subscriptions.
It isn't just football, it's all of the baseball, basketball and whatever sport a fan is interested in. And anyone that believes this fee will stay small is just kidding themselves. Vincent Emailed me back, a form letter to all the emails I'm sure, and what I get out of it is that all of the schools are going to be going to this in the future as these companies approach the colleges and show them another way toi make money while promising better service. I still don't like it and for all of those that try and degrade the guys like me I say F@#k Off. Any radio broadcast should be free. WWL tried doing this with the Aints telecast a few years ago and they got shut down because they were double dipping, now all of the colleges have found a way around it I guess.
Well, I would'nt take as a degrade, but if a company is offering something that costs them money to bring to you and you want to watch, pull out the plastic and order up. Don't be a tight **** all your life dav
seems the ones arguing against it like myself are the ones it has no affect on. its not about not being able to pay. I can listen locally or attend most all games. not sure why that's your argument when its obvious that wasn't his issue or mine.
I really have no argument, I attend most games anyway. I merely stated that if it's something that cost money to put out there, then why should anyone get it for free.
LSU has plenty enough sponsorship to afford this positive publicity. its cheap advertising actually. they should let it go.
Exactly, and it is something has been and should continue to be free. They will make much less in the long run.
Then you have a lot to learn my friend. There are several members of this board that have actually served in Iraq, including myself.
ever hear of radio and television? they are free and the broadcast companies dont just think the waves into existence. need to come up with another reason.
