What will it take to get a great replacement for Miles?

that's always possible, but i like to discuss who the next guy is going to be.

I want to hire an improvement. I don't want us to be sitting here two three years from now in the exact same spot saying the same shit, just with a different name. What fucking good does that do? So we need to hire someone who we confidently feel will take us to the next level.

With that being said, i don't think giving a guy his first ever HC gig (Aranda) is the answer. He's a maybe at best as a HC.

I think Jimbo would have been a good hire. Herman as well.

Agree. We could end up with worse but what we have is not acceptable to can him and let's move forward.

Just pointing out that some of the names i've heard are just not great answers. and we can aim higher than that.
all those names will do is change thread titles from "Fire Miles" to "Fire new guy"

 

So what names besides Herman or Jimbo are higher than that? Outside of them who is an almost lock to succeed on your list. Odds are we dont sign either of the top two.

and i really don't have a list because LSU doesn't let me vote on it and it takes too much effort.
i'd rather just sit back and argue with people when they throw a name out. it's much more fun that way.
