Who will be the first man in? I assume Williams will be #4 in all scenarios.
The real question is, who will start by week 4
What Tight end is starting?
Gordon. But keep and eye on the rest of them.
I would expect LF7 to take over in the same fashion Hill did his freshman year.
I tend to agree with you here. Miles like to run his more experienced players, especially in the early part of the season, while the younger players acclimate. Some do so quicker than others, obviously. I wouldn't be surprised if Fournette flourishes a little sooner than Hill just because he seems to be a lot more mature and focused.
Knowing Miles I fully expect Magee and Hilliard to get the most initial carries while the coaches get a feel for Wiskies defense and allows them to soften it up a bit.
Fournette is under a tremendous amount of hype and I don't think he'll want to throw him into the fire too soon. Of course maybe the hype is real and Miles can't wait to see what he can do.
They say that Hilliard has had the best August practice. I think he'll get the start, then Magee, then Fournette. After each has a series or two, Les will go mostly with the hot back.
I thought more people would go with Fournette starting.
We know Les Miles pretty well after 9 years!
And the hot back turned out to be Hilliard.
