The rankings are higher since they had to go against the LSU defense? I don't follow. This game is going to rely on a defensive change from what you've been doing all year. While I'm not forecasting a win, I do think if you continue to play off the WR's, put LB's on the inside receivers, it's going to be interesting all day long.
i think what he is trying to say is that our stats are cushioned because we haven't played anyone. :rolleye33:
sorry...forgot the sarcasm icon deal. This LSU team and defense in particular just went through an emotional 5 weeks. With the extra week to prepare and heal up, I fully expect the defense to be ready for anything ole tricky nick and the Bama offense will throw at our way.
In theory, you're correct. But my recollection of this season, especially the last three games, is that the defensive front has not been able to pressure opposing QBs enough - they're not sucking at it, but at critical times the other QB has had WAY too much time. Our secondary (in my opinion) has been doing a good job, but they can't cover forever. And the LBs are good, but not good enough to cover talented guys like Percy Harvin or this dude from Bama (brain fart - can't recall his name...) Now, let's put this in perspective. We have one of the best defenses in the country ACROSS THE BOARD. So, this is all relative. I just don't agree that the offense has been plagued with three and out.
Mike McCoy? Matt Caddell? Nikita Stover? DJ Hall? Keith Brown? Pick your poison. which ever one your talking about i have a feeling you won't forget his name after this weekend.
You speak as though Bama has the #1 passing game in the country :dis: . yet, this thread says 1) your passing offense is 46th and 2) you have a pretty weak schedule (Western Carolina, Vanderbilt, Arkansas, Georgia, Florida State, Houston)
I haven't said any of that. He couldn't remember the name of an Alabama WR, so i named a few. I also made a guess that one of our WR would have a big day. Nothing more nothing less. You read way to far into my post.
