The Dems want the economy to go south and people to be out of work.
The Dems want the Iraq situation to go south and things to get worse.

Its the only chance they have to get the presidency back!
Sen Kennedy's comments will be heard by the wrong crowd in this global world, they now have satelite dishes in Iraq and the middle east.

Americans are usually united in wartime, not anymore and how many Americans have to die at the hands of the Dems statements?
Dems are comforting and encouraging the enemy IMO.
    Am I wrong?

Quote:April 6, 2004 -- WASHINGTON - Sen. Ted Kennedy yesterday charged that President Bush's credibility was no better than Richard Nixon's - drawing an immediate rebuke from Republicans.
In his remarks to the Brookings Institution, a think tank in D.C., Kennedy also said, "Iraq is George Bush's Vietnam."

"Ted Kennedy has effectively cut and run on the military service personnel out there. Kerry and Kennedy were two of just a handful of senators who voted against funding the troops in the field," Holt said, referring to the vote on $87 billion in Iraq rebuilding and troop-support funds.

Kennedy said last week the case for going to war against Iraq (search) was a fraud "made up in Texas" to give Republicans a political boost. The longtime senator also alleged that the money for the war is being used to bribe foreign leaders to send troops.

    Kennedy:
"It didn't have to be this way," he said. "We wouldn't have to be providing these billions of dollars to these countries to ... coerce them or bribe them to send their troops in, if we'd done it the right way, if we'd gone to the United Nations, if we had built an international constituency."
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes Mr Kennedy and this is why Iran is playing jokes with the UN and their inspectors, Iran is saying the same thing they have said months ago...

We also need more UN programs like the oil for food programs don't we?

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------
It was just reported on FOX that the UN chief weapon inspector Hans Blitz has just been quoted by a Swedish newspaper as saying the war in Iraq has had a worse effect on that country than the reign of Saddam Hussian.....
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------
Are these the type of people we want defending us?

Teddy just needs to sit down, shut up, and have another drink.

Actually, that was supposed to run as an ad parody in a 1970 issue of National Lampoon magazine but their lawyers wouldn't let them run it.
