1. There are more LSU fans in Houston than Houston fans. Houston people would claim Rice before UH.

  2. Rice has a really nice stadium. I went to an LSU-Rice game when I was a kid. It's build partially below ground so when you walk in you are either halfway from the top seats or halfway from the bottom.
  3. It's in a pretty nice part of town too. I love that area. Right near River Oaks.
  4. In the Montrose area if I remember right. Been a while since I've been in that section of Houston. Everybody I know lives in the Clear Lake-NASA area.
  5. Montrose is the gay part of town. It's like Dallas' Oak Lawn. I like Montrose there in the early 2000's my girlfriend at the time and I were looking for a place there. University of St Thomas is in Montrose.
  6. I didn't know it was "the gay part of town." Just seemed like a nice upscale area. I thought it was mostly Rice students and faculty
  7. Rice has an older stadium, they have opened up one end of the horseshoe. Building all new Weightroom, locker rooms and coaches office. Going to be nice when finished.
  8. That's why it's upscale. It used to not be, but the gays turned it around.

  9. Tiger Stadium is old too. I always thought they should remodel the old dorm rooms into luxury hotel rooms with access to the inside of the stadium. Of course if they did it they wouldn't be hotel rooms. They would be luxury suites for the fat cats who could lease them for big bucks.

  10. That's what happens when the interior decorators move in.
