who's going to play the position......don't kid yourself.....mauck was a big part of why the team did so well.......he may not be the greatest qb but he was the right guy at the right time......

Dude, this is college. 4 years max and they are gone. Happens all the time. Are you familiar with the part called "Recruiting"? That's where the coaches go out and get new players to replace those who are leaving. Marcus Randall, JaMarcus Russell, Matt Flynn, Reever: That's what Saban is going to do, pick one of those based on their performance. Of course, you are the same one who wants Bobby Knight at LSU

he's going to wait and see what happens in spring practice.......In my opinion which ever of the three end up starting will do just fine...

This topic has been beat to death.......but I guess there really isn't much else to talk about.

it just seems odd that no matter how far they were ahead (i.e., arkansas)......mauck stayed in the whole game......am i wrong or is there reason to be concerned.......

I wouldn't take much from that, Randall played in 6 of the 12 regular season games.......and he did play in the Arkansas game. I don't think he was in long and he only attempted 1 pass, but I don't buy into your philosophy.

Man, the sky is falling, oh oh. Saban is a one QB coach, which I happen to like, he plays his guy unless he isn't doing his job repeatedly and doesn't play musical QB's. We have plenty of talent and the staff evidentally thinks enough about these guys to not have persued a QB in last years class till the verey end and that was do to Mauck going into the draft. If they weren't comfortable with the players we had then we should all be worried however that appears not to be the case.
