David Greene was never touted as a prototypical pro- QB. He had earned the reputation as a winner that wouldn't get rattled, until he played LSU. Any team that loses its entire o-line has done an amazing job just to get back to the SEC title game. If that line, all sophs and rs freshmen last year continue to develop, Ga will have a solid offensive foundation.

All this arguing about whos going to be the QB is great for conversation. Saban, like most defensive coaches when pressured, revert to ball control offense and look for an effecient QB that will not lose the game for what should be a great defense. Randal was recruited by Fla and had a in house visit from Spurrier.

The one thing you can say is since Jimbo came to town, you have seen all of the QBs playing for LSU improve. Josh, Ro, and Matt got noticably better. If they, Saban and Fisher, feel that Marcus has earned that trust, Jimbo can run an offense to work with his skills. If Randal does win the spot he will need most of the snaps to get ready for the SEC but we will see at least one frosh early. IN SABAN WE TRUST

Im gunna say the same thing that I said in another post: "Saban knows what he is doing. He wouldn't be the highest paid coach if he wasn't good and didn't make good dicisions. He'll pick the best person for the position." Easy as that!

There is no fun in that, but just for no one to be afraid that we will not get another N.C. because of our qb. We have some pretty good qb's this year, may be even BETTER than Mauck. We'll just have to wait and see if they're as good as they say they are on the field.
