What's the deal with the high expectations for Auburn?

    Oh, I think that the days of them "owning" us are long gone...like the Bear. In today's climate of parity and scholly limitations Bama will never reach the top of the heap as consistently as in days gone by. It will continue to be a good rivalry and we will win some and they will win some....but neither team will "own" the other (with the exception of AU owning that crimson ass for the next few years).

    It's that fundamental reality that their fans cannot grasp.

    Bama will be humbled this season. Their fans are in for a shock as they will win no more than 4-5 games. The sanctions are in full rut and their once-highly-touted recruiting class was a bust.

    I can't wait to see them again in Jordan-Hare West. Did they get our turf repaired there yet? :lol:

    I know LSU will be good this year, and was last but if I read correctly you said will always be inferior to LSU-that's the joke- And stop teasing Bama, they still can't figure out that their glory days passed them about a decade ago.
