This is worded almost exactly like the post you made yesterday about Duke beating a hapless Miami team. You got your answer yesterday. :hihi: Calling Les Miles "less" is not necessary. It's great that you still love Saban and believe he could do no wrong, but Miles is a proven recruiter. He's landed the #4 Class in Quality Per Recruit in both 2005 & 2006. (3.69 & 3.64 Averages).
I see your point, but I think your under-selling what a great recruiter is capable of. There are cases (and this might be one of them) where there is nothing a coach can do, but that's not usually the case.
We have no way of knowing whether Saban would have landed this kid or not, so let's stay away from that topic. I have no doubt that Les & his staff will do their best to try to get him to stay home in Louisiana, but no one recruit is the end all be all of a program.
wow. thats not very sportsmanlike. I wish no ill will to any player. these are 18-22 year old athletes. not your sworn enemy who has personally harmed you. not very cool, man.
That’s all fun if were playing touch football at Jefferson Playground but this is NCAA football Skip. You got to hurt that young buck.
hmmm... I know that players are going to get hurt, and as a player you want to inflict as much pain as possible to your opponent, but c;mon do you really want to break that players legs?
No. That's what bush-league players like Marcus Vick do. When playing against "young bucks", you have to stop them...NOT hurt them.
Recruits do have access to the internet you 'tard. Do you think saying you hope this kid is hurt if he doesn't choose LSU will leave him with a positive impression of LSU's fans if he reads the LSU boards? No it won't. Go back under whatever bridge you came from.
