We have a ferocious 5 pound toy poodle named Princess. She thinks she's 105 pounds and chases all of the big dogs in the neighborhood. :geauxtige
All male hound dogs should be named after Confederate generals. Bedford, Jubal, Stonewall, and Jeb are my favorites.
My last dog was a beagle named Copper. He was the best rabbit dog I ever had. When I walk in the woods, if I close my eyes I can still hear his beigh. The dog could flat out hunt, and his bark could clear the forest. I miss him very much, and he's been gone ten years.
My beagle Bedford has seen 15 summers and is starting to limp a bit on one leg, but otherwise going on strong with apparently undiminished smell, sight. and hearing.
