Been MIA this week. My 11 year old had 5-6 seizures in a row on Monday evening and had to rush him to TAMU emergency vet hospital. We don't know why, but he is now on seizure meds. It was HORRIBLE!! He was convulsing, foaming at mouth and the screaming. Oh God! I felt so helpless and was convinced I was going to open up the back door and find a dead dog when I got to the hospital. He seems ok now but his senses seem to be a bit off. So I have been monitoring him. They say it could be anything from a toxin, to liver/kidney failure to a brain tumor. Did not have $3500 for an MRI. I wish it weren't so expensive to take care of a pet.
