What's your expectations for early signing day?

I expect this to be the plan

Looks like we will be sitting on 13 signees to end the day. With a few targets signing between this Friday and January 2nd, and then some others in February.

 

We have a chance to imrove a little before having to scrounge in the portal. I guess it could be worse. Kelly sa a lot of work to do to try to build a wall around Louisiana. The top 20 players in La (247 #s) had 4 WRs listed. Bama got the top 2, then 1 to Miss St, an the last to Neb. We got squat.

Yep, it sucks this had to happen this year, which was a really good year in the state. If we had been able to get everyone we wanted in Louisiana, and no one else, we’d be at #4 right now.

 

Well, signing day is not nearly as important as in years past. It's still important, but with the transfer portal and NIL, it's a totally new ballgame. You can grab some really good players in the transfer portal and we can still make a run at some of the talented uncommitted players too. Kiffin said it best when he said it's really not about recruiting anymore, but who is the highest bidder. I agree. Deion just signed the "best" player in the country and I promise he didn't go there just because of Deion. More than ever, it's all about paying a lot of money if you want one of the elite guys on your roster and then good luck keeping him on your roster!
