Hitters nowdays have a song they have played when they are walking up to the plate to bat. Was listening to radio today and they were talking about this year's LSU players walk-up songs. Almost all were songs I've never heard by artist's I've never heard of. What's your walk-up song? I would probably change mine from game to game unless I was on a hot streak but to start the season I gotta go with "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap." Appropriate for an unpaid player hitting home runs. Anybody want to bet that @LaSalleAve chooses Bob Marley's "Legalize It."
I would probably choose something from Refused. Rather Be Dead is a good choice. That would get me hyped up.
The batter only has about 10 seconds of music played at most, so the overall meaning of the lyrics is irrelevant. Far Cry by Rush for me. Pick it up at about the 15 second mark.
If I were a relief pitcher, I'd pick Everybody Wants Some by Van Halen. Walk out there slowly during the drums, and the minute I toe the rubber....Eddie Van Halen comes in with a heavy chord. The batters would be very intimidated. The crowd would go crazy.
