we got the same on this coast too...power went out..jacked w/ my alarm clock...when mammas runnin late...EVERYONES runnin late...and we had FCATS/Florida writes (Florida's lovely state assessments for school agers)...not a good day to be late for school!

So if we can hear from the jacksonville/panhandle people and they got it too that would be the WHOLE state in one night! Dang we hadn't had hurricanes that could pull that off!

And luv I heard that on the news last night (in PR I can get Miami news...imagine that). I wonder how many kids were tired and late around the state this morning??

WE got MUCH needed rain, as y'all did too ..so I hate to complain..but sheesh..all in 24 hrs???

And yes..plenty 'o chitlens were runnin late this mornin...bus drivers all around town apparently had the same alarm clock faux paus as I!

I went to Kansas State for a few semesters in 'the Little Big Apple' Manhattan, Kansas. It's colder than a well digger's a$$ up there!! I don't miss that place at all!! I did like the basement bars around campus though. That was pretty cool.

Not too good today in Shamu Land. Rain with a high of 59, winds 20 mph with the surf at 5-7 ft. I think I want a refund.

Ironic the paper said just yesterday, sunny with a high of 72! Winter sucks and so does the tribune.
