So apparently, DNA isn't the deciding factor for membership in an tribe. Only the tribe's elders can determine if you belong or not and who knows what their requirements are. It's been interesting because there have been some 400 people in CA recently "kicked out" of their alleged tribe without much explanation given. I think they want to limit payouts and make sure they don't have freeloaders.

I will say that they do give quite a bit to charity but their overall situation needs some fixing. Lots of money but high unemployment, high rates of alcoholism and drug abuse. It's a study on how to kill motivation.

Really? I would....for at least 5 years. I call it the tin can theory. If you could find a way to cut back expenses and put the savings in a tin can rather than spending it on something else....cause that's what people do, you'd find yourself way better off down the road. $5M would make for a great retirement so I'd work for 5, put all the indian money in a "tin can" and then retire.

But if you had a guaranteed million coming in every year even if you live to be 100 why work unless you wanted to live a lifestyle that costs more than that. I don't need a $300 million mega yacht or an $80 million private jet.

I don't need that much either and I don't want to live to 100. When it comes to finances, I'm practical-oriented. In addition to that, while I enjoy leisure and vacay, I like to work. I need to stay involved, keep my mind going. I'd get bored otherwise. Just me.
