By their criteria and expectations the list that they can choose from is awfully small. I said it a long time ago, the day les does leave they should seal TF off, fill it with water and make it a damn bass lake because no one on the planet will ever be good enough to replace him.
Read this morning that Stoops might want Iowa. Rich Rod's name is still floating around. What about McElwain? He recruits the SEC, has ties there....loves Florida RB's.
What are you reading? The comics? Iowa interviewed Stoops years ago and told him to wait for the call. He then got hired by OU and Iowa hired Kirk Ferentz. I still don't think Stoops is going anywhere but will go to Florida before he takes the Iowa gig that isn't even open is it?
Stoops did...as a college to attend...he even played there. It's been 16 years...maybe it's time for Ferentz to move on. Stoops is an alum...much like Michigan came back for Miles. Of course Florida makes more sense but since when do coaching hires make sense? The comics....no darling, not the comics. A site publisher I know.
I can't see Foley wanting RichRod with all the stories about his baggage. McElwain has a 7.5 million dollar buyout.
