Maybe thats with a new coach, maybe its not...

however, complaining about Coach Laval all the time and the program
will not do a God Damn thing to change anything.

ScottyB28, you are one of the worst. It seems like every post you make is complaining about the baseball program.

yeah, we get it it. you dont like smoke. ok? you really dont have to mention it every post/thread...

 

The only reason I complain so much is because I know LSU has way better talent than they are showing right now. I look in the dugout and where is smoke, sitting on his fat ass. Im sure the players get real pumped up and ready to play when they see the head man sit on his ass for 9 innings and never move. The guy cant motivate, period.

 

Think about this guys, Smoke Laval came from ULM. Dont you think if he was a great coach he would have been at a better school than La. Monroe. The guy is not a top tier program coach. LSU needs a coach who is more active and can motivate these kids. Dont you agree?

 

I remember skip called every pitch. Smoke just sleeps in the dogout with his oakley's on.

this baseball team's mediocrity is having some affect outside of LA. Finebaum had Callis from B. America on his show last month and said that LSU is no longer a premier program in the US. Got to blame smoke. We should consider looking for a new coach to stop this downward spiral.

 

Well, if a caller to Finebaum's show from Baseball America said it, it must be so. It doesn't take a genius or an expert to conclude that LSU baseball is not the premier program in America. That honor goes to CS Fullerton, Texas and maybe a couple of other clubs. The problem I have with all of the chicken littles is that once you reach the top, they insist that you stay there year after year. Impossible. Not gonna happen. Too many good teams out there. Our pitching is in good shape (Nall is really throwing well right now). We'll be there at the end. Just learn to accept that we're not going to be the best all the time and relax.
