    A little about OSU

Thanks for the invite. Believe me, I would love to go to that game, win or lose. It will be amazing enough to watch it on TV.

As for the rest of Beaver Nation, I am certain they will be visiting soon.

As for our team, the defense is fun to watch. The Defense ranked 8th in the nation last year. They have been placing linebackers in the NFL for the last few years. The current defense has some players:

Mitch Meeuwsen, Brandon Browner and Aric Williams shore up the secondary.

Johnathon Pollard will be starting at linebacker this year and Bill Swancutt at DE has pretty much rewritten the record books for sacks and tackles for loss.

The offense will be interesting. Yes, Derek Anderson threw as many Ints as Tds but now under Coach Riley for a second year should dramatically improve.
Mike Hass, a walk-on is an impressive receiver. Caught for over a 1,000 yards and if you saw the USC-OSU game last year, you might remember the fantastic catch in the first quarter.

The running backs are going to be by committee with Cole, Wright and Yvenson Bernard (from the state of Florida).

We need to find a few more receivers to step up as well as replacing our kicker from last year. We have 4 very good home games this year with USC, Oregon, Washington State and California.

We did recruit out of Louisiana this year....Burnell Wallace, Keenan Lewis and Dennis Christopher from O Perry Walker. Remember that Riley was with the Saints for a stint....

as many yards as you totalled vs USC you guys never seemed to be in the game. you seemed totally outclassed and being it was USC makes me wonder how you will fare vs a much stronger defensive team in LSU knowing how many bad mistakes DA makes at critical times. Knowing Saban and how he destroys much smarter QBs as in Green and Young White Frankenstein, it makes me think this guy will be so confused being forced into the pass because i can almost guarantee you you won't have much success running the ball. Yes, your secondary is good but when you cannot stop the run, its not going to matter much. LSU's secondary is definitely top 3 in the country and I sense bad things for OSU but i see our O making some early mistakes as well and possibly turnovers keeping it interesting.

    just thinking out loud.
