Said my piece and as usual you are all over the place and make no sense at times. Unchecked immigration is letting that shark you mentioned in this country to eat us. Example; Los Angles assemblyman introduces a bill that presidents day holiday should be done away with and replaced with May Day as a holiday. MAY DAY you idiot A COMMUNIST HOLLIDAY. The bill got approved for a general vote and was thankfully defeated. And who wanted to do this THE MEXICANS IN THE ASSEMBLY WHO BELIEVE CALIFORNIA BELONGS TO THEM. California is the canary in the coal mine. The state is slowly falling apart. The state is Balcanizing and is in kaos. Liberals along with illegals who want to change our culture rather adopt ours is the problem. Also Muslims are coming here not assimilating and wanting to live under Sharia Law instead of our laws. Screw people who want to come here and hate our way of life.

Me a coward well if you are not a coward than read the attached article

As I said in one of the shootings threads in response to @LaSalleAve, when the extremes see their opposites as evil we put our society at risk. The United States was founded and the Constitution was written as liberal. Not the political liberal but philosophical liberal.
By that I mean The liberal believes in individual rights and tolerance, international engagement and the rule of law while the illiberal believes in nativism, populism, protectionism and isolationism. On the surface that comment seems to apply to those on the so called right, followers of Trump and others. However we see the same on the left. They are nativist in that anyone who dissagrees is evil, their populism is obvious and trends to socialism one of history’s evils. There is also as big a push towards protectionism on the left (ask the unions) and it has pushed to withdraw the country from much of the world.
The philosophy and principles the nation was founded on have brought us to become the greatest country in history. Don’t let the rejection of these ideals and principles bring us down.

All of that may be true but there are some issues that we absolutely cannot let the other side win. One is any infringement of our constitutional right to bear arms. We MUST STAND OUR GROUND AND NOT BACK DOWN.

If we lose the second amendment how long before we lose the rest of our rights?

I could say more but there is a gun show in Gonzales that I'm going to in a few minutes.

Call me a Facists if you must, but I believe we’d get more bang for the buck by overhauling the 1st. Back in the day, a Looney could influence only so many people before cooler heads prevailed. Today, garbage can be spread around the world at the speed of heat!

I strongly disagree,.. the 1st Amendment is essential, it's first for a reason, we need more news media not less, the brighter and hotter the lights the better,.. if we lose freedom of the press, that's lights out,.. then only the government will spread garbage around the world at the speed of heat!

Without press oversight the government will be in total control, the government will choose the issues we discuss, the government will choose the candidates we vote for. We the people, will only know what big brother tells us. The American dream,.. gone.

Was thinking more of digitized, social media, where every Tom, Dick, or Harry can spout off anything they want, and send it, unedited/fact checked, around the world. Instantaneously. And legions of cretins will act/react on the message simply because it is there.

    Happens all the time.
