That's a pretty good order there, mctiger. I suspect we will know a lot better after this season as to how important the win over Florida was and have more perspective on it.
We should change the name of that stadium to Joe Addai stadium because I have never seen a Florida opponent OWN that place like Joe Addai did in that game.
I'll never forget the win in Oxford in '03. I spent most of the game underneath the bleachers stealing whiskey from other Tiger fans and watching bits of the game on the big screen, couldn't take the stress. Finally walked up the ramp in the last couple of minutes just in time to see Eli fall on his @$$. That's the one I'd rank 1st. As far as the Florida game, while very impressive, it hasn't really changed the season for either team (as much as the others whose championship hopes were ruined with the loss) or decided the winner of our division, so I'd have to rank it lower than most of the others. But it still deserves ranking.
If i remember correctly, didn't Matt Mauck throw 2 picks in that game, one that was deep in our own territory, and didn't Ole Miss have a chance to tie the game with a field goal that was missed by an award winning kicker?
One of the first series was a pick-6, I think. Right in front of us...... That game was crazy intense.
Here's the recap: LSU Tigers vs. Mississippi Rebels - Recap - November 22, 2003 - ESPN Mauck threw a pick-6 on our first play from scrimmage. He threw 3 INTs on the game. The Ole Miss kicker, who was 23 of 24 coming in, missed a 36-yarder with just over 4 minutes left in the game.
