I think the reason we haven't seen Ford is ridley. Ridley is as good or better for the things Ford would be used for. Ware and Blue have different skill sets.

Isn't Ware injured? I really like Alfred Blue, I think he is going to be a good one. As long as we have running backs who get the job done, it doesn't bother me that Ford isn't seeing time.

In this case you would break in the older guy first, wouldn't you?

5 or 6 snaps is a lot of reps that would take away from Ridley, Shep, etc... If we lost a game and fans starting to point out that we didn't get the ball to our playmakers enough and so forth. Got to go with the guys you know can get the job done no matter what play is called. Now if we establish a big lead early on in the game then I think we see Ford get some carries to get loose and confident to prove he deserves a bigger role.

I don't think Ford is damaged from it. He is one of those guys who wants to get better and he knows he has to work to get it done.

Not if he hasn't any more playing experience.

Red I am fine with the RB's the way they are but all things equal I believe I would give the guy that been around for a year the time. That is if all things are equal. I don't think that is the case here. What frustrates people is the fact Miles keeps saying he will play each week.

Let's start the UF game with Lee, Ford and Peterson in the back field. That'll get 'em. Put Jefferson in on punt returns and Russel Sheppard in at CB...wow I'm a genius.

What I was replying to was the logic used by the person who said Ford is not playing because he is the same type of runningback as Ridley, whereas Blue the change up back. If that is the case then, no, Ridley's backup is not playing.
