    Guess it depends on your definition of hospitable. If you let fans yelling "Tiger Bait" bother you, it will be a long weekend for you. You will hear it in your sleep when you get home. Don't take it too seriously and you'll find many hospitable LSU fans throughout the city. The French Quarter will be a very popular place.

    Check with your hotel, but I think they still offer tours (Grayline Tours?) around the city to see the damage. You won't really know a hurricane ever hit New Orleans if you don't venture away from the tourist areas like the Quarter. I think you'll be shocked to see some of the damage 2.5 years later.

    This is evident on the Hyatt and the Mall next door to the Dome.

    The Ernst cafe by Harrah's is having parties all weekend. The day of the game they are starting early with kegs and eggs, I think you may have to buy a ticket though, not sure of the cost.

    I just emailed Tarantula Arms and this is what they will have going on;

    We'll have The Captain Legendary Band before the game and play the game with sound on our 2 big screen TVs. We have a huge plasma and a giant front projection TV and screen above the stage. Our prices are pretty cheap for the French Quarter $4.50 wells, $3.25 domestics, etc
