Same problem I have been talkning about all year... LSU's defense is undersized... they maybe be fast, but a power rushing team will beeat them every time.

You mean a powering rush team + your offense that only gets 3 1st downs in a half.

LSU held them to under 180 yards in the 1st half. Sorry, you can't give basically a top 10 O the whole 2nd half.

Auburn has the basically the worse pass defense in the nation... LSU threw for 128 yards and 39 yards came on the gimmick. O lost the game, not D.

Tackling was bad but 24 points to Auburn is not.

That was a major part of it. But this is also what happens when your defense is based solely on speed but sorely lacking in size trying to take down big backs. When your D-line gets nothing, and I mean NOTHING, up front, your LBs are in the position of having to tackle a 6'5" ball carrier with 3 yards of momentum and a lot of acceleration. That's a formula for disaster.

Agreed and picking up a big paycheck in April.

It's amazing we didn't put 2-3 guys on him every play. He looked to run most of the time.

24 points to the top O is good .... they were worn down just like any D would be... sorry you are not going to win with your D out there every game trying to win the ball game.... you win by moving the ball and scoring

    3 1st downs = tired D = loss

If LSU had even an average offense they would have won.

LSU's offense made a horrible D look great yet again.

Before the game I would have taken 24 points for Auburn. It was totally ugly & they killed the ball at the end but if the offense had done anything we could have been right there at the end.. second half was terriable. reminded me of last year..

Yeah, I am with you on the 24 points. I really thought if we keep them under 27 we would win. Our offense had the ball 5 times in the second half, 4 times around mid field and only 7 points. Our D did its job. i know they`gave up a lot of yards but they did give our O many opportunities and the O sucked..

Thanks Miles and Crowten once again for making an offence that most coaches would kill to have look like chumps..
