yeah, it looked like Shep downshifted. did he pull a hammy or anything, cause that is almost what it looked like? regarding RRs run after pass, he looked like he was expecting to get caught and almost looked to be slowing down. i was glad to see he kept it up into the endzone, but it looked like he was slowing down simultaneous with the DB.
I guess it's kind of like you to know what to post after Les out coaches Nick and JJ has a very good game.
I don't think so, he just doesn't have that OJ Simpson kind of overdrive where he can take a breakaway run, shift into long strides and pull away from the chase. But I'll take 40-yard runs any day.
I'm going to take flack for this, but character notwithstanding, I've never really seen what's so special about him. It's Trindon Holliday syndrome...not as good as his reputation.
Wow, I knew there was something negative about that clutch play call and first down run in a close game, I am just glad he secured the ball with both hands.....well coached!
Hah... dogging the guy because he ran for 45 instead of 60... looked to me like the Defensive player simply had a good angle.
Well I've criticized his play, but always with the preface that he's just now learning his position. I don't question his ability, I don't question his desire, and a damn sure don't question his character or heart. He's a true sophomore, and is already a great leader on the team. He just can't catch...yet.
