Which football game was the best EVER in LSU history?

Ok, I would like to know…… (I am sure that this has been discussed on TF before, I just missed it.)



Which football game was the best ever in LSU history and why?

The one where they won the national championship.

2004 Sugar Bowl.

 

Personally, I liked the one that took place January 4, 2004

 

Ones I was in attendance for.

Easy January 2004, I am looking at my ticket as I type this, one of the top 5 experience of my life...

After that I would toss in the first SEC title. That was great and sort of signified the birth of the Saban era and what was to come..

 

1. National Championship

2. Beating TN in overtime

3. Beating TN in the SEC Championship are my most recent "best ever games".

 

There are too many to really pick one. The Georgia game in 2003. The NC game in 2003. Beating Florida in 1997. The NC game in 2005...

 

Ole Miss when Bert Jones hit Brad Davis at the pylon in front of the Ole Miss fans as time ran out. Jackson kicked the extra point after time expired to win the game.

 

Easiest question I've seen on this board...and thanks for letting me think of these games again!

1 -- Sugar Bowl v. OU, obviously

2 -- Beating Florida in '97

So many others, but these just stick out as far and away the best games...

And one of 'em is second only to getting married in greatest days of my life.
