For those of you who collect, or at least appreciate football mini helmets, which of these models would you prefer to collect and why? For those unaware of what the helmets of each look like, I'm posting an example of each: Riddell: Schutt: My personal preference is Riddell because the face masks look a lot more realistic. I ask this because a lot of people seem to love the Schutt helmet, and I'm not sure why.
Riddell hands down. Too bad they don't make different face masks available... I would love a 1958 Cannon replica w/ the single bar...
the facemask on the Schutt is not to scale, so it makes the helmet look funny. what website did you find the white helmet on?
Agreed. The white one looks cool... I own both the yellow & white helmets (brand new) in XL size and I can still BARELY fit them on my dome ...I wear a size 8 hat...
I think the white is a great once a year look. Maybe we can do this.... 2nd OOC game every year wear the purple jerseys with the with the white helmets and white pants with the customary stripes on the sides, just for something different. I would like to see it just once in my lifetime. I thought we looked sharp the one game we did wear the white helmets.
I agree, the white one is really an attractive helmet. Can someone please post a link where the white helmet and the Riddell and Schutt can be purchased. I'd like to get them all. Thanks!
