Word out of camp is that Howard has the best arm talent, throws the best ball. He's just not ready yet. In my perfect world, Daniels absolutely blows up this year, declares for the draft, and then we get 2 years of Nuss and 2 years of Howard.

I think it will be helpful to have an experienced hand behind center the first game. That is assuming their capabilities are pretty equal. This will be the highest pressure game since the Texas game in 2019. Daniel’s has faced a lot of pressure situations and would be my choice for the first game. I also think there is time to change if needed.

I'd take the guy who can break down film and know where the ball is going before the snap over the guy with the better 40 yard dash time.

I don't understand the Max situation at all. I could understand if he went to a place desperate for a QB, but Texas A&M is the complete opposite. Freshman recruit Conner Weigman is one of the best HS QBs I've seen in a long, long time and should be a star in the SEC very soon. I don't think Max is a bad qb, but I certainly don't consider him to have the same talent level as a player like Weigman. Maybe dad and Jimbo have a secret deal worked out because on the surface, it looks like a horrible move on Max's part.

I’m hearing Max Johnsons brother is going to be one hell of a tight end. I’m guessing Max wanted to go play with his brother.
