Not sure what any other Tigers have run in the 40, but Mel Kiper on ESPN radio just reported that Andrew Whitworth of LSU ran a 5.16 (40 yd time). He said it was the fastest of the O-linemen and should move him significantly up the draft board. :thumb:

LSU! LSU! LSU! LSU! LSU! LSU! LSU! LSU! LSU! LSU! LSU! LSU! LSU! LSU!

Good for Whit. Doesnt really suprise me about his speed. He has always had a really lean frame. I guess similar to Kyle Turley.

I just watched it this morning. After his run, I said "dang, that had to be 5.2." Only one guy was faster, a former TE running a 5.0. Still, go ahead AW!

I think Winston Justice ran the fastest, but Whit was the fastest in his group.

"Yes, but its still Mr. Whitworth to you. And don't think that you can outrun me 'cause you can't "

AW also had the #1 broad jump! (in his group) and vertical jump!
The combine is on the NFL network right now. They will replay this at 10:00.
