I ain't so sure. Sir William of Smooth took the female republican vote in two elections.

It's a valid opinion based on her own vapid statements.

so what exactly qualifies one to be president? Governor of Texas, former owner of a dozen failed companies, plus the dude traded Sammy Sosa in his prime? Governor of California and former actor? Lincoln was a lawyer and had 2 years in the house, not really a long political background either.

    here are the facts

    1. sarah palin is a dumbass
    2. her politiics are superior to obama's and she would be better for the country, at least economically
    3. personally i think palin seems kinda unlikeable. too dumb and too fake folksy. i would rather drink with sir william.

She's plenty smart. But, IMO, like HRC, she's not electable. Like HRC, she would be a "get out the vote" candidate for THE OTHER SIDE!

I'd be very surprised if she lasts through the mid-terms as a serious contender for the GOP nom in 2012. The media will try to keep her around because she's good theater. But all that publicity and focus is eventually going to sink her. IMO.

To the OP - I do not plan to buy her book, nor read it. I just don't take her seriously, I guess.

Whether you admit it or not, your opinion has been shaped by the media treatment of her. She is not the airheaded bimbo liberals make her out to be. Read the book and make up your own mind.

I believe the very first words of my post are: She's plenty smart. :thumb:

I don't take her seriously because she can't win, IMO.

I don't pay attention to the media, much. Other than for the entertainment business that it has become.

You thinking she is smart and the fact that I think she is stupid is pretty subjective....

I'll stick with my opinion and I hope she runs.
By your standards, she's a socialist as well.

Fortunately a good Republican Congress kept him in check and even made him look good sometimes. We don't have that luxury this time as we now have the WORST Congress in our nation's history!

Let's HOPE we survive until we can make a CHANGE in three years!
