We are deep everywhere except kicker and punter, most of whom are walk-ons. Can't afford any losses here.
It really wouldnt be anyone on offense. Unless maybe on the line. LSU is so deep everywhere on offense that the loss of one back or reciever or even qb I dont think would kill the Tigers. I would go with Landry or Williams.
I think williams is a great player and I really like him and all...but I think that we have so much depth on the defensive line that he wouldn't be that terrible a loss. You could just plug in Glenn Dorsey or Marlin Favorite and not lose that much production. I think Landry, on the other hand, could be devestating. :geauxtige
I think Russell because he's the only QB we have with experience. We have no idea what Flynn can/would do.
LaRon Landry. Even though we have a lot a depth, outside of Francis, we don't have much experience at the Saftey positions.. And with 2 new starting corners, our safeties--especially Landry, are going to have to keep the DB unit together for the first few games until whatever combination of CB's (Prude/Stevenson/Joseph/Jackson) gel together.
I honestly don't see that happening! People here are too one-dimensional, and they only focus on LSU and/or the SEC. I as a huge fan of all conferences know Les Miles' styles very well, and he won games at OSU with not a heck of a lot of talent. He had no business winning games against OU or being ranked in the Top 25 a couple of times. With our stock-pile, he will be the man... Mark it!
