Russell. A Flynn/Perrilloux debate would lead us to the same inconsistency we got last year from our QB play. Next would be Landry, then I'd say Whitworth, then Niswanger. Cam Vaughn would also be a huge loss just becasue of our lack of depth at LB.

I agree with Kyle Williams being the cog of the defense... he is the.. ahem.. motor (heh)... Wroten and Dorsey are interchangable, but Williams is the man who disrupts the opposing teams offense.. he will be our Chad Lavalais this year...

Williams is great, but with Dorsey behind him we could absorb a loss like Kyle. There is no one to really replace the Landry's, Whitworth's, and Niswanger's of the team.

Right. I think that JR is the only QB that has the potential to be consistant for us. MF and RP aren't experienced enough to be consistant. I think that JR has the potential to string together 10 or so A+ games and few B- or C+ games that we still win because of the big play potential we have. RP is talented enough to score a TD if needed, but I don't think he could sustain that type of play in his true freshman season... Kinda' fun that this is the type of stuff we can talk about in this off-season. This is probably the BEST off-season in LSU football history... So many possibilities... :geauxtige
