At the Georgia Dome, it's pretty much a TN home field advantage too. In 2001 it certainly was.

To be honest, neither team scares me too much. However, LSU will need to play better defense to beat either.

I agree--home advantage is going to be on the side of either team. Come to think of it, the whole SEC East has home field advantage there annually. But Georgia fans are going to be angrier and more fiesty. Tennessee fans will feel lucky to have gotten there. Richt is doing some good things to get his team all psyched up. It's hard when you're #1 to be as psyched as a team which is on a roll and challenging a #1 ranked team on what is basically your backyard field.
I will be interested to see how our team plays tonight. I hope they regain some of the early season dominance and that rain doesn't somehow make things more even between the teams tonight.:tigereye:

A lot of orange that day!

Would be great to have the big dome game to prepare for another big dome game! From whomever. Bring the best. Leave the easy match ups for the tennis courts!!!

NO DOUBT i want to play tenn!! Even though they shut out georgia, taht was a fluke game. Georgia still looks like the much better team, and because georgia won tonight...i believe florida is almost completely out of the race. Florida doesnt look good now...but i dont want to play them twice. The problem is tenn still has to play kentucky, arkansas, AND Vandy...whos not looking like the WORST team right about now...Kentucky just slipped by them today. In my opinion, we are either gonna play Georgia or Tenn. There is a great piece discussing the SECCG at the Advocate.com--entitled "Tigers control destiny; Vols have East inside track" it talks about all the possibilities.

    Edyel,

Wouldn't you say that could be a payback game. When we beat TN in the SECCG, weren't we the 3 loss team and they had the opportunity to go to play for a NC? Roles would be reversed if that were to happen.

You're right that Tennessee was supposedly on its way to a NC, but we were an up-and-coming team, with a new and very competitive coach. Fulmer is an old and tired coach with a team which is very inconsistent, not peaking like LSU was when we beat them.

I want Georgia. Why you ask. Cause I want to play the best. I want no doubt that LSU is the best in the SEC, period!

Phuck UT. They're a bunch of wussies led by a fat phuck! We wipe the field with their sorry @sses.
