I will be pulling for Georgia. They have the potential to be ranked the highest for the SECCG game rather than Florida. That is what you want. I want LSU to be #3 by the end of the year.

If we play Florida in the SECCG game, that means Georgia has lost to AU and Florida could easily lose to FSU. The highest Florida could be ranked would barely be Top 10 even if they beat FSU. If Georgia wins out and goes to the SECCG they will be easily Top 10. We need to play a Top 10 team for the SEC title in order to stay in top 3-4.

    Hold on to your seats......

I will be pulling for Auburn:grin:

When the dawgs come on the field and see that orange and blue sunset outside Sanford Stadium, they will cower down and whimper as Auburn wins 16-13.:thumb:

I thought UGA and Va. Tech were the 2 most overrated teams all season. Shockley or not, I'd pick Auburn.

The complete demise of VT against Miami just shows anything can happen.

    Two additional factors are involved.

Richt is 8-0 when he has had two weeks to prepare for a game during the regular season.

And Richt took the team down to the UGA stables and took the players out horseback riding.

I guess he figured that a trip to a barn would be in order.:yelwink2:

I also think AU will win this game.....

    Also imagine this......

LSU & AU both win out (including bowl game and SECCG for LSU), and Bama wins their bowl game.....the SEC WEST will look dominant with the top 3 looking like this

    LSU 12-1
    Bama 10-2
    AU 10-2

This will put to rest any debate on which conference is stronger....well at least looking at the Big 3 in each division.

I always want LSU to play the best of the best, so it's Georgia, all the way.

I'm not sure who to pull for on Georgia/Auburn. LSU needs to improve its BCS ranking. Hell, we slipped into the title game in 2003 in the last week of the season with a one-loss record. Anything can happen. A win over Bama is essential, of course.

I'm not sure which would help LSU more in the BCS computer rankings. Would it be better for a Georgia win and a potential chance for LSU to beat a top-10 team in the SECCG? Or would it be better for an Auburn win, keeping both Georgia and Auburn in the top-25, improving LSU's strength-of-schedule?

Tough call. Who has done the math?

Where the hell is ishtissle when you need him?
