Les just said Jefferson will start this weekend.

An article should be out soon.

    Contained Chaos Don't we all?

Apparently he had outperformed JJ in practices in the past. So does this mean that it's even now at practice? Maybe Lee got the message that the guy who doesn't perform at practice gets to start.

What am I missing, here? Lee has (at least up until recently) outperformed JJ in practice, and JJ has put on the worst performance humanly possible in the games. Does JJ have blackmail pictures of Les or something?
Shocker. He won't change a damn thing until we've lost a game that we shouldn't have. Even then, he'd probably blame it on something else. I hope he realizes that a lot of negative attitudes towards him come from his tendency to stick with something that doesn't work.

JJ will start. They are 4 - 0. Until that changes JL will see very limited playing time, maybe. Unfortunately we don't have a good quarterback and I want to believe they are going with the lesser of the two evils based on what they see in practice.

If Les would go back to the days that he had a set of balls, this is what I would do....

Announce to the press that JJ would start against Tenn....then I would start JL....when asked what happened, I would simply say "I changed my mind." or a simple f/u. In pregame warmups.....I would even let JJ work with the starters......I'm the million dollar coach....I'll do the decisions around here. What ever became of letting your starter play...Then, if he is not doing well,,,,,,,,,let him watch from the sidelines for a series or two...sometimes that seems to allow him to see what he is missing from the field.......OH what the hell...I'm just a dumb ass ole Reb---probably way behind my time. Still love it though.. I guess with the advent of national tv, you really can't do this(....but I would lean over and whisper in the lady's ear, who was trying to pin me down at halftime as I was running off the field to make adjustments for my team, hopefully to secure my multimillion dollar salary,) that she needed to worry more about her Tampons and less about my decisions. I "LOVE" for my lady to enjoy and be knowledgeable about football. BUT.....there's a time and place....just like the lady(?) who complained about the locker room when she went to interview her hispanic qb.........get the hell out....Oh....NEVER MIND...I love women's volleyball.....gonna get me a job as a sportswriter for our local paper....I DEMAND ACCESS TO THE LOCKER ROOM.....

Let's see how long he keeps him in. Two ways to do this (if you're planning on playing Lee). One is let JJ start and let him know that if the offense stalls because of him, Lee is coming in until he proves he can't do it either.

The other way is to start Lee.

I'm hoping Les is just choosing the first option.

I am not confident in my hope...

Wow a ton of over thinking it here.

Lee used to have great practices as a backup but not outperforming JJ for any extended period of time. Maybe a practice here and there.

Lee has just not been up to par in practice as of late so really hasn't helped his cause getting into significant playing time.
