Boy, talk about memories. I watched that one on AFN while deployed to Sicily, making seafood gumbo on a hot plate in my barracks room. My roomate was a huge Oiler fan and earlier we watched that Bills game where they came back from 35-3. The gumbo wasn't too good, either. A hot plate just don't cut it. Bad day all around. :nope:
The funnest thing about that game was after the team was walking off the field some old lady sitting next to us poured her BEER all over Carl Smith. I have never heard an old lady say some many bad words in my life. It was great.
Big Saints fan....now where is Rich Mauti when you need him? I totally agree with KATT, listening to the Countdown to Kickoff and Hap's Point After with Buddy D was some very entertaining radio. Whether it was the squirrels, Abdullah, riding the Magic Carpet, drinking a Barq's or Buddy promising to wear a dress it was always good stuff.
Gotta pull for the home team first. Been a Saints fan since I was a kiddo. But second comes the Packers.
Been a Saints fan since the day I was born. Been an LSU fan since the day I was born, too. As one can imagine, stretches of time in which both teams suck are particullarly depressing...LOL.
