It's obvious there wasn't anything to back-up the failed run by Jefferson. Three plays SHOULD have been called at the time out and it wasn't. That is the OC's job...plain and simple. The same people who are saying Les is calling the plays are the same ones who are saying he is too dumb to make the call.

Call it what you want but Crowton is the nan behind the madness. He makes the call...now Les can question a run or pass but the OC is the one running the game plan. If the HC is calling the plays then the athletic dept is paying a guy a lot of money to sit in the press box and watch a football game.

Not anymore. But if Crowton tried that at then end, knowing that JJ has no compsure and situational awareness, why cant Les get rid of him. Does he want to keep his job, or is there something I am missing.

And this begs the question, why take out Lee at that point? Okay, JJ is a better runner, but doesn't make more sense just to let Ridley have the ball?

I'll also say that you8 didn't see clock management issues or questionable personnel to play calls when Jimbo was here with Miles. Too conservative maybe but he fit the plays to the players and never had issues with the clock.

My point I'm trying to get at. That was so horrible, why cant the OC be replaced. Not like this is the first and want be the last debacle. So sad to see JL come back from the INT in the endzone to lead the team down and to pull him without the benefit of clock stoppage. Totally depressing for the guys that gave their all and be led by the clueless.
