According to the Tampa tribune article this am, it could be either Florida or South Carolina to Shreveport. http://gators.tbo.com/gators/MGBLD7GXMGE.html Remember two years ago when the OutBack picked the 8-4 Gators over the 10-2 Vols to play Iowa? de ja vu.. all over again. Plus, on the bright side, the Outback appears torn between picking 7-4 Michigan or 7-4 Iowa. All this, of course, based on both an LSU win and tOSU making the BCS.
If LSU gets stuck with the Indy Bowl, I would hope that they would just stay home to make everyone look stupid...
Sugar - LSU or Georgia // WVa Cotton - Alabama / OU Outback - USC / Wisconsin Peach - UGA or LSU / Clemson Cap One - Auburn / Michigan lndependence - Florida / Nebraska Music City - Empty
How in the hell would the loser of the SEC Championship game fall below Auburn and Alabama, and possibly South Carolina. This BCS and Bowl crap is really pissing me off.
Pecking order on Bowls: Sugar Bowl: 14 million Capital One: 5.18 million - Cotton Bowl: 3 million Outback Bowl: 2.75 million Peach Bowl: 2.2 million Independence Bowl 1.2 million Houston Bowl 1.1 million Music City Bowl 780K Versus the standings in the SEC: LSU and Georgia should get the top two slots. E and W champs. Auburn Alabama South Carolina Florida Arguement can be made for Auburn to be in the Capital One Bowl if LSU wins the SECC. But if Georgia does, it should go to LSU with Auburn in the Cotton. The problem that has arisen is within the SEC offices where they are firmly behind and pushing the East teams and literally just letting the West go as it may. Bama has had an agreement with the Cotton working for weeks now but the SEC doesn't like that. Oh, they don't mind Outback going with USC... It's a befuddle mess in that office and has been for years. Consider, you lose to UGA but beat Auburn and you've just been screwed. Bottom line, this should be done, with the exception of the SECCG, based on total W/L records as it was designed when the BCS system was implemented.
Yep, I bought my Capital One tickets from an Iowa fan who was real POed. Lets make this easy... Georgia forfeits the SEC CG to LSU and Georgia goes to the Cotton Bowl to play Texas Tech. LSU to the Sugar :yelwink2: Auburn to Cap One to play Northwestern  Alabama goes to the Peach. SC goes to the Outback. Florida to Shreveport during an ice storm.:hihi:
florida is a virtual lock for shreveport. guess i can admit once again I was wrong about urban myth thus far. that bastid surely didnt adapt his scheme to his players and chris leak paid for it. i guess he should declare for the NFL while hes still healthy.
Win or lose both teams are going to be in Atlanta again. Very strange scenario but after what we've been through this year, what else is new. Im sure not excited about playing a ho-hum West Vagina team that lost by 40 points to Vagina Techbut I'll take the Sugar Bowl win no matter what. It wont be one of the marquee match-ups but we'll have fun and kick the crap out of a Vagina team.
