I just hope Miles doesn't run the team into the ground and have them worn out in the 4th quarter of games. Saban definitely saved the team's legs for Saturday night. Think of the games that we won in the forth quarter just last year... I can think of two right off the top of my head (Oregon State & Florida). Here's to hoping... and praying.
That's a good point lsujay, but it to me it seems that Miles' intensity will help energize the team in the 4th quarter, not hurt us. Imagine it's the 4th quarter of the game, the team is worn the hell out but the game is on the line, now imagine Miles there yelling "Let's play some (expletive) football!" That energy is going to transfer to the team. It was Tommy Moffit that kept us in those games for the 4th Quarter - our team was just better conditioned than almost everybody we faced.
Good concerns, but I thought I read where he said it was a "5 minute session" (going full) during each practice. I doubt 5 minutes, if my comprehension is correct, will cost our players valuable stamina. Plus, he already aluded to not wanting anyone to think they'll be knocking themselves unconscious, which leads me to believe he won't put any of our players at risk.
