It really doesn't matter who it is or that the source is a committed but unsigned recruit. What is important is that these elite players all know each other from camps like the Elite 11 and the Manning Passing Academy and others like it. It is a good sign when your committed recruits start recruiting other highly ranked players to come to LSU and play together..
In the entire member colleges in DI conferences there are exactly 7 non starting senior QB's who signed as freshmen who are still at that school and 2 of them are at service academies. Kids who don't get to play transfer. That's the way it is these days. Coaches who have adjusted to the new reality will be successful. Let's hope Oeaux is one of them.
I don’t think we made a formal offer to him, at least no one shows it. Could be David Baldwin out of Florida.
I don't think KT is doing anyone any favors making these comments. If he's recruiting for us, great, but don't steal someone's thunder or speak out of turn when we all know these kids change their minds w/a flip of a coin. If I were a QB, a leader, I wouldn't want someone else disclosing who I will commit to.
Yeah, I know. But, it sounds like he was close, and he certainly gave clues. Not a huge deal, I'm just saying, probably he should keep that info close to the vest if this is his future teammate who is confiding in him.
